Student of the Month...

Let me tell you about this human behavior, this is stuff I would get in trouble for...Monday nite, Andre was over with Erika, Devon, mom and dad. Andre had a surprise, he was student of the month... well let me tell you dad was hooting and hollering and then he fell on the floor, mom was jumping up and down and Erika got pretty excited also. If I acted this stupid and silly I would have been put in the cage.

Something else happened that also concerns me, now that it is colder there is big machine next to my bed that makes a lot of noise and I don't like it. Someone said it is the furnace, well let me tell you I make a lot of noise, but do not like this stuff. Just when I got over my fear of the vacuum and broom, this stuff happens..they have to drag me to bed at night.

Another thing that is going on is that I am getting in a lot of trouble for is when people come to visit or when I go visiting, I like to jump on people, lick their face and sometimes bite them. Boy do they get upset at me, and most times I wind up on a leash.. I will never understand humans, this is the way we greet each other in my world after we sniff each other's butts. At least I am not sticking my nose in their butts first, not sure what they want out of me. I am not sure I am going to change this behavior, because there is nothing wrong with it.

Mom got a copy of Cesar Milan's new book, not sure I am gonna like this one, it is something about "becoming leader of your pack".. we'll see about this one also.

Almost forgot, everyone here was pretty good about this Red Sox stuff.. haven't seen any red socks around here, but I betcha they are pretty good chewing.

Visit to the Vet...

The other day, Tuesday I believe, when mom got up she said she was sick and tired of pulling ticks off of me and we had to go to the vet. Part of the problem had to do with Auntie B getting tick on her back and her having to go to the doctor and all. Personally I don't mind ticks, but humans hate them.. from my point of view they are a side effect of smelling stuff in the woods and high grass.

So we went to the Vet, he did not give me a shot, instead I got weighed and am now 34.9 lbs. That means that when I am an adult I will weigh 65.8 pounds, don't believe it I bet I weigh 70 lbs. Anyways, they gave me some stuff on my back to keep ticks off. Still can't hop in bed with mom though.

I am now 4 months old, still driving adults crazy and still not paying attention. This morning I discovered a great new game, when they take me out to do my business, do not pay attention and start to dig, pick up sticks and all in the very cold rain. This drives them absolutely crazy and dad even swore at me. I did this three times this morning making believe I had to go, and when finally I did he elated after being so angry. Gotta file this in the memory bank for those rainy cold mornings, of course may not have been so bad if dad had worn a coat and put something on his feet besides flip flops. Flip flops I love that word, gotta go and see if anyone left theirs out.

Tedy B. at 4 months old...

Well I made it to 4 months old, somewhat of a miracle as mom and dad say at least one time a day they could kill me. Not sure why, but snatching stuff and running like hell is a whole lot of fun.. watching them try to chase me is even more fun. Sometimes when they catch me I bark at them, they say I am being fresh, I say I have a right to be heard. Been spending a lot of time in the woods lately and bringing home lots of ticks.. mom won't let me jump in bed with her in the morning any more cause she is scared they might fall off on her. But I am good, and still don't get why I cannot chew flip flops or crocs, I don't get shoes, maybe they should try it also..

Dad's working...

so things have changed, somedays he leaves for work in the dark so we don't get in our "forced march" every day. Mom is still here and she takes me for walks, I don't care as long as I get in the woods and run. Felt very hyper lately so spending more time on the leash or in the cage, they say I loose control.. guess that is a matter of opinion. Do not understand why they do not like to get bit, Spectra didn't mind.

I am 4 months old today, and they are too lazy to weigh me..the Dr. says double the weight of a puppy at 4 months and you will get my approximate adult weight. I'm guessing about 60 pounds, but not sure.

Still really like going in the car, and sleep there all the time I am in there, still get in Devon's car seat. Prefer to hold my pee and poo until I get home though, that is the best place to go. Other than that not much going on, right now I am back on the leash again because I was biting again.

Things are good in Patriot Nation...

Dad and mom were real happy last night, the Patriots beat Dallas, not sure what all that means.. but dad says if mom is happy, everyone is happy. If everyone is happy, then I feel happy. Warm and fuzzy puppy moments.

Last night during the game, they were talking about they not wanting to watch me hump the stuffed animals during the game so they gave me a big soup bone, they said I was moaning as I ate. Not sure what that moaning thing is, but it sure was good. It was so big I could not pick it up.

All was well until Auntie B, came by and I got a little crazy.. not too bad, at least I did not pee on the floor.. they thought it was a big deal, because Gracie ( her dog) took a cookie from dad. What is the big deal?? I will take cookies from just about everyone, even though they sometimes want me to act like a circus dog.

Life is real good in my world, being a puppy is nice.

Not much to blog about..

Weather gotten cooler, late out dark in the morning, and we have heard a lot of coyotes lately so we go for walks later. Dad started to work more, so we do the "forced march" thing every day. I can fetch now, even though I want a cookie every time before I drop it.

The other day we stopped by the South County Animal Rescue League to see Megan, fortunately she was there.. she wondered what the little ball of fur that used to be Pilot would turn out like. It was nice to see her, and she remembered my sisters name, Spectra.. guess she got rescued also and is doing well.

Yesterday went for a walk with mom, Aunt bee and a couple of lady friends Anne and Dottie, they all have dogs had a lot of fun running in the woods with Gracie, Kaylee and Maggie. Don't understand why they don't like plastic water bottles and why Kaylee chases the ball so much, Maggie likes treats so much and Gracie rolls so much. It was fun, but I got pretty tired and when I got home did not feel like humping the stuffed animals in front of mom and dad. I even felt tired on the "forced march" this morning.. life is good.

Life is good on the edge of the south county woods, even though dad is not here as much.

Monday, Monday Can't trust that day..

This could also be called Blue Monday, but easier to just go with the original. When I went to bed last night Dad gave one of his blah, blah, blah speeches about how today was not a very good day for me and hopefully tomorrow will be better. I thought yesterday was pretty good.

It started off fine, got up earlier than usual.. dad took an early shower, before he did he put everything away and let me stay in the bedroom. I felt pretty smart so I opened the sliding closet door and got a boat shoe. I chewed right through the laces, he got mad and started the blah, blah, blah about how much that was gonna cost.. what do I know about money??

Mom and dad were busy so Aunt Bee took me for a few hours, it was fun first of all I made her walk me for over 2 hours before I did my duty.. amazing how well I can hold it when I want to. It was fun I rolled in a dead frog, tried to eat some coyote poop Auntie Bee can take care of me whenever I want, even though she was shaking her head and saying something like over my dead body..

Then the kids came over for some "Vicburgers", I love it when they come over I get to bite Andre and knock Devon over. They left me on the deck when they ate and I howled a bit. I got yelled at a lot when they were all there, Erika gets really mad when I beat up Devon. But Devon does keep me going, particularly as she keeps provoking me, what does a dog do when a little kid is waving a piece of paper towel in my face??

After they left, mom and dad thought I might be tired, but I wasn't I had a lot of energy and continued to have raise hell. They kept telling me to go to bed, but I was not tired and it is a lot of fun to howl at mom when she is eating chips, or hump the stuffed animals when they are watching tv, or go after just about anything that is mouth level. A great new game I play now, is when I snatch something I run like hell and they chase me.. then I won't let go. They keep telling me it is not a game, or call me "dog from hell", but I think it is fun.

Well hopefully Tuesday is better, woowee they left the remote control out.. gotta go.

Who says puppies don't have a sense of humor..

Toilet Cleaning Instructions:
1. Put both lids of the toilet up and add 1/8 cup of pet shampoo to the water in the bowl.
2. Pick up the cat and soothe him while you carry him towards the bathroom.
3. In one smooth movement, put the cat in the toilet and close both lids. You may need to stand on the lid.
4. The cat will self agitate and make ample suds. Never mind the noises that come from the toilet, the cat is actually enjoying this.
5. Flush the toilet three or four times. This provides a "power-wash" and rinse".
6. Have someone open the front door of your home. Be sure that there are no people between the bathroom and the front door.
7. Stand behind the toilet as far as you can, and quickly lift both lids.
8. The cat will rocket out of the toilet, streak through the bathroom, and run outside where he will dry himself off.
9. Both the commode and the cat will be sparkling clean.
Sincerely,
Tedy B...

Walking in the sand...

Yesterday we went to the beach, idiot humans do not allow dogs on the beach until after September 30th.. Humans need to learn to share and stop being so selfish.

The beach is cool, drinking salt water is ok. Everyone waited for me to throw up, but I didn't. I only like to throw up at home on the rug. Talk about a cornucopia of smells, bird crap, dead crabs, seaweed, old shoes, plastic a veritable smorgasbord of all things puppies love. I played the do not listen game, so I wound up on the leash.. but that was ok, still had fun and another opportunity to aggravate the humans.

Afterwards, another opportunity to drive them crazy, did not pee before I got into the van.. all I wanted was my afternoon nap. They humans were going out to eat, so they were worried about me peeing, stopped at Home Depot.. there I really drove them crazy, got to sniff stuff for another half hour, but did not pee. Mom was driving and every 5 minutes turned her head to see if I was puking.. fooled the hell out of them. Finally peed when I got home, and never puked. Achieved my goal of controlling them and driving them nuts.

They say I travel well as all I do is curl up and sleep on the seat, but they do not know that is part of the master plan.. rest up and save my energy until later then I act like a lunatic when I get home.
