The Tree is gone..

Just when I was starting to come out of the bedroom from my self imposed isolation, they took the tree down. So now things can go back to normal, or as normal as they can be. Not sure if I am going to join the family again though, the bedroom is quiet.

Christmas was one of the quietest holidays so far, only a few hours on Christmas Eve things were different. On Christmas day there was some car time, while the adults went visiting.

The Patriots season has ended, so they tell me more time on Sunday to spend with the family.

Snow..

I really like the snow.. there is something magical about this whole thing, even though it is deeper than it usually is.. they are saying 10 inches, not sure what that means.

The other nice thing is you get to see all the neighbours, Gil, Rose and the rest of the cul de sacians.. also they were not paying attention, so I got to go for a walk all by myself. Harry saw me and snitched, but I came home anyways.

The only problem is that when I have to take a poo, the snow comes up to my butt.. that is a bit strange and disconcerting. Quite a conundrum some might say, but the strong survive. Try going to the bathroom on a toilet seat lined with shaved ice...

Blur...I am this fast..

There is a tree in the house...

it does not smell like a real tree, but does look green with lots of shiny stuff. They moved some stuff around, looks a though will be spending more time in the Bedroom.. by myself. Do not like change.

The other day we lost power, all of a sudden there were crazy loud whistles all over the place.. made me crazy, have not recovered.. this along with the tree makes me feel a bit unstable...

Mysterious acorn Shortage..

when the leaves were raked and I attacked the pile and the tarp, the adults were noticing how little acorns there were. Last year there were tons of them, this year hardly any. Well today we find out why, they read an article about how scientists are baffled by the mysterious acorn shortage. After reading the article the scientists do not know why this is happening, but is happening all over the place. Not sure why they wasted time on writing and reading this article.

Now why would we blog this, BECAUSE THE FREAKING SQUIRRELS PRACTICALLY LIVE IN THE BIRD FEEDERS AND MAKE ME NUTZ. Then after going nutz; clawing at windows, blinds, and acting crazy I usually have a hard time regaining control and wind up in time out. It is not my fault, nature did it, what am I supposed to do???

The adults shoot bb's at them, but never hit them, they scatter only to return with their friends and family. It is very difficult to scare a hungry squirrel.

Winter..

it is that time of year, cold with a bit of snow on the ground. The time of year when the adults like to go out less, but to me it is all the same. It is easier to see in the woods, and for some reason "potty" calls take longer as there just seems to be more to smell. All the while the adults tell me to hurry up, I will take my time.

Good news though Aunti B, stopped by today.. I was elated about this.. Gracie and I can soon walk together.. sure they will yak a lot about us roughhousing.. but it is what we do.

Other than that not much going on, Christmas is coming and if I remember from last year that is usually fun.
