Hitting the skids big time..

I am now blogging from the kennel, mom and dad dropped me off yesterday gonna be here for a week. Lots of dogs here, lots of smells here, but no mom's bed in the morning and no slippers to steal. It is ok, I laid a huge guilt trip on them when they dropped me off.. see you in about a week.

Forgottabout this... ooow what a lucky dog I am..

Last week we were at Bob's Stores, mom and dad went in and I stayed in the van.. When they came out there was a pretty white dog in the parking lot walking around. Mom and dad went over to the dog with another guy, and they put a leash on him because there was a lot of traffic. Mom called the phone number on the tag, but no answer.. she then called the number on the rabies tag and got the vet. The lady in the vets office, called his person and that scumbag, no good rotten person told us to let the dog go he would find his way home. The lady in the vet's office said as far as she was concerned that they dog was abandoned.

So another lady who was also involved with us and she took the pretty dog, dang that dog almost went home with us, she was real pretty all white with blue eyes.. I got to take a sniff before she left for her new home.. she smelt good. I wish the lady did not take the dog home, that would have been fun.

18-0 Baby.. we are the best..

Sunday was a biggie, we got in the car and after a few stops; Charlie and Rachel, Erika and the kids we wound up at Auntie Yvette's house to watch football.. I was allowed in and got a marrow bone while there was some hooting and hollering while the Pats were on the TV. It didn't work though, after a while I could not sit still and hit the pink zone and had to go to the van for the 2nd half of the game.

It was still fun seeing Kathy, Karen, the kids, Unca Bob and Anyt 'Vette... dad and mom were really happy after the game, Dad kept saying 18-0..

Running with the pack..

One of my favoritist new things is that somedays mom takes me to Ladd School to run with a bunch of other dog walkers, sometimes there are four of five dogs.. Truman the yellow guy, Maggie the black dude, Kaylee the other yellow dudette, Gracie you know her and a bunch of others whose names I do not remember. We chase each other, I grab their tails and we run into each other, great fun.. I am the smallest dog, and sometimes they knock me over, but it is still better than hanging around the house.

The other day we found a deer leg, and we think that Gracie is hiding the deer head somewhere in the big field. Me and the other dogs keep looking for it though, the best we can come up with is some really good deer poop to roll in.

Out of the cage....

Since Christmas have pretty much been out of the crate aka solitary confinement, now sleep in mom and dad's room at night usually I am invited to sleep on the bed, but they squirm too much so go back to my bed. But when dad gets up, I hop right up and get on his side.. they also leave the bedroom door open and sometimes I wander around, but it is no fun stealing stuff if no one watches..

Sleeping this way is much better, on a really good day there are some dirty clothes at the end of the bed I can sleep on.. does not get any better than this.

Sometimes I feel like a motherless puppy...

Mom went skiing with Andre this weekend, and I was left with Dad. I was ok, but I miss Mom a lot. On Friday I moped around a lot looking for her, but by Sunday Morning was full of pee and vinegar once again. Then she came home and I hit the redzone big time.

BTW does everyone know the Pats beat Jacksonville Saturday night, they are now 17-0.. guess that is a pretty big deal, dad was doing some hooping and hollering.. and kept talking on the phone to mom. I got a big marrow bone.. bribery is a good thing.

It is snowing again, can't wait to go shovel..

Oops I did it again, I forgot New Years..

maybe this is not my fault, because the party animals, aka my parents were in bed by 9:00 PM. No one wanted to stay up with me and watch the ball come down, next New Years gonna see if I can hang out with Andre or someone and stay up really late. What a boring holiday..

Another reason do not like New Years, because the food is only OK, not like Christmas or Thanksgiving..

I think that sitting in a car seat is my choice..

I have always liked sitting in Devon's car seat, see no reason to stop even though I hang over and am uncomfortable. Mom and dad think it is funny and I am acting like a big baby, I don't see it that way. As long as I can I will always sit in it when I can.

Me and Commanche Hanging..

My Buddy Commanche came over on Sunday night with his parents Jean and Jim-Bob, we had a blast wrestling, tearing up the lawn and having a good old time. I like it when people come over, because there are always some really good leftovers. Everytime Commanche leaves I am always tired that night and most of the next day, not sure why. Come back soon Commanche, you can bring Jean and Jim-Bob too.

Channeling Canadian Dougie or some random thoughts as we enter 2008

The other day I was channelling, Doug, aka Doogan or the Mexican Bikini inspector.. his avatar inspired me, what a hunk of burning love . Anyways as we enter the new year he helped me sort my thoughts.. these are profound so watch out.

'1'
Blaming your farts on me..... Not funny... Not funny at all !!!
--------------------------------------------------
'2'
Yelling at me for barking. I'M A FRIGGIN' DOG!
--------------------------------------------------
'3'
Taking me for a walk, then
Not letting me sniff crap.Exactly whose walk is this anyway?
--------------------------------------------------
'4'
Any trick that involves rolling over, Stop it!
--------------------------------------------------
'5'
Leaving me alone on the floor, instead of the couch.. now you know why we steal your clothes.. payback is a b...
--------------------------------------------------
'6' The sleight of hand, fake fetch throw.
You fooled a dog! Whoooo Hoooooooo what a proud moment for the top of the food chain.
----------------------------------------------------
'7'
Taking me to the vet for "the big snip", Then acting surprised when I freak
out every time we go back!
--------------------------------------------------
'8'
Getting upset when I sniff the crotches of your guests.
Sorry, but I haven't quite mastered that handshake thing yet.
--------------------------------------------------
'9'
Dog sweaters. Hello ??? Haven't you noticed the fur?
--------------------------------------------------
'10'
How you act disgusted when I lick myself.
Look, we both know the truth. You're just jealous.
---------------------------------- ----------------
Now lay off me on some of these things.
We both know who's boss here! You don't see me picking up your poop do you?

EVERY DAY IS DOG DAY.
A DOG ALWAYS OFFERS UNCONDITIONAL LOVE.CATS HAVE TO THINK ABOUT IT!

I like Christmas..

Christmas is better than Thanksgiving, because on Thanksgiving you only get great leftovers for one day, but on Christmas you get them for about three days. There are so many people and so much fun.

On Christmas eve went to Erika's, lots of family were there, I was in the car, but dad came and got me. At first I was real good, but after seeing all the wrapping paper, shrimp and cheese I hit the red zone big time. He had to drag me out, it was not a good time to start stealing and jumping on people. How was I supposed to know?? Seemed like a lot of fun.

On Christmas day, it started all over again, they all came to our house, but I did better on that day.. no crate time. Maybe it has something to do with that orange thing around my neck, that seems to go bzzzz everytime I act like a puppy and jump on people and stuff. Not sure why, but everytime I forget and jump on people it makes my neck all tingly.

They all said I am getting much better, not getting into any real trouble, they also say I am growing up, whatever that means. They also say they like me more now that I behave better.

Last Saturday, dad and mom had on their Patriots Sweat Shirts, I got a Big Marrow Bone, so I knew it was Patriots time.. they are 16-0, can you believe it dad kept saying, not sure what I am supposed to be believing. They looked like they were having a good time.

New Years eve, not much going on, dad got home from the doctor's late, they keep talking about lyme disease.. not sure why that effects them so much, I get ticks all the time. When I get them mom has to wrestle with me to get them out.
